Creativity in motion…

Today we went on an outing to the Majorelle gardens; our usual way of ‘being a tourist’ is to run through or past the places of history…

But today we joined the queue, which happened to be a rather a lovely place to stand… It was a hot hot day in marrakech, and fine showers of water sprayed over the wall to cool us…

The gardens are quite literally a work of art, created by the painter Jaques Majorelle. It took him forty years to complete…

Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé discovered the Jardin Majorelle in 1966, during their first stay in Marrakech and saved it from being turned into an hotel…

They undertook a restoration of the gardens, in keeping with the vision of Jaques Majorelle… And the gift of their passion to us is a delight to wander through, away from the constant buzz and energy of the City…

We enjoyed the tranquility, the sound of moving water, lilies floating and golden fish on a constant swirling journey; the greenery reaching high, rustling in the breeze, the birds chirping  and the splendour of many cacti… We turned a corner to be greeted by a building, bright blue, vibrant colours, and sat for awhile amongst the many other tourists enjoying the experience.

Creativity for us to enjoy, and be inspired by…

We all create with our every breath, we are creativity in motion… And in seeing the manifestation of the passions of others, it can lead us fully into the true expression of our own heart.

Creativity of others can speak to us all, inspire us and access the spark within us of our own truth.

Truth is never jealous or envious of the creativity of others, it simply recognises the energy of the soul and responds.

Our work is to silence the mind, the ego; and clear away the fear that prevents us from following the path of our passions…

And then flow with the movement of the soul’s expression that whatever it is we love takes us along; trusting that this is the only way, the energy of love and the path of our inner voice…

From here we will create from a place of truth, and all that emerges from this silence within is beautiful….
